    wheaten bread and a bowl of sweet milk for breakfast. About 1 1/4 acres (Irish) was the general cut for a good mower.
    The best mowers in this district were the Murphys, the Singletons, and the Connells. They generally went "down the country" with scythes in the harvest time.
