- In my own district there are several wild birds to be seen for example the robin the thrush, the blackbird, the skylark, the starlings the sparrow, the wren, the tom-tit, the magpie, the crow, the wood cock, and the hawk.
In my own district the robin builds her nest in the side of the ditch. The blackbird builds her nest in a furze bush or hedge. The skylark's nest is among the grass and waving corn found. The hedge sparrow the starling the tom-tit and other small birds all build their nests in holes in the thatch or on the eaves of the houses, and each lay about five or six eggs.
There are also some migratory birds in my district. Among the many(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
