Quite adjacent to Mutton-Chop row". The remainder is "non est".Milford derived its name from the Áth (ford) in the river (the Deel) & the mill on the bank. The hill referred to must be Kilbolane hill on the Ráth Luirc side of Milford.
The Mutton-Chop row included the houses of a doctor priest & a few shops. The Cúl Áth(a) was the poorer district (part) to the west of Mutton-Chop row. The Cúl Áth "grand" was meant to be sarcastic.
