- This old woman used change herself into a hare to take the milk from the cows.
A certain farmer was missing his milk for a long time and did not know what was happening.
He happened to go out in the field one day and what did he see outside but a hare drawing the cows.
He went into the house for his gun and came out again to the field. When he was about to fire the shot the hare went off Helter Skelter into the ruins of an old house and the man just fired the shot as he was in the window.
He shot the hare through the hind quarter.
He put down the gun and went off to get the hare as he thought for his dinner. He went into the house and what did he see but an old woman sitting inside. He examined her and found the shot that he fired.
The spell was broken and she(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
