  1. Ferry Field:- It is so called because it is the field next to East Ferry.
    High Field:- Mr Aherne of Ashgrove owns the High field, it is called the High field because it is on a hill.
    Long Field:- This belongs to Mr Higgins of Ballydaniel it is called the long field because it is very long.
    Paírc a Bhóthar:- So called because it is situated at the boundary of the road from Belgrove to Morlogue, and now belongs to Mr Wilson.
    Paírchín bán:- It is so called on account of its being near the house of Mr Wilson and it belongs Mr Wilson also.
    The Sheeps' Field:- This field is situated in Morlogue because sheep were worried by dogs there some years ago, and had to be slaughtered.
    Pink-Eye Field: So called on account of early potatoes grown here, of that name, and which were marketed early in June.
