(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)no fortune atall. If they were satisfied with every thing they settled on a day to meet one another. Sometimes they met in a neighbour's house; sometimes in a hotel in the town. There they settled a day on which to examine the premises. If they were pleased with everything they settled a day to buy the ring and the jewellery. They had a motor car each and they met at the jewellery shop. The wedding started at the girl's house and finished at the boy's house. It was a custom to go one road and come home the other road. The wedding lasted a day and night. After they went on their honeymoon to Dublin, or London, or Wales.- Bailitheoir
