    Long ago people hired coaches for going to the wedding. When the newly married couple were coming out of the church the people threw rice at them for luck.
    The people tied an old shoe on the coach of the bride and bridegroom. If the shoe remained on the coach luck would follow them but if they lost it they would have ill-luck. A wedding feast is usually held at the bride's house. During the feast strawboys come in. They blacken their face's and tie straw around their necks' and legs'. They are entertained very well. They remain for a few hours
