The cows are tied with chains and with two boards. It is very seldom that the cows are tied to stakes.
Cows are tied by the neck when they are in the cowhouse. Cows are tied from the two horns to one of the fore legs with a strong rope when they will not stay in a certain field.
The materials for tying the cows are made of iron. They are tied with chains when they are in the cowhouse. The tyings are not made at home.
The names of the tyings are, spancels, and chains and ropes.
