   Kilbarraree. She is good for telling English stories.

   There are the ruins of only one house there now.

   Long ago some of the people used to go to America because they had not much work to do.

   This land is very good for growing barley, potatoes and beet. There are no woods around here because the land is too near the salt water.

   I live in the townland of Ballybraher. There are sixteen families living in the same townland. There are twelve slated houses and four thatched houses. Lynch and Walsh are the most common surnames. There is only one old woman who is over seventy years and she has no stories. There are no ruins of dwelling houses to be seen around our townland. Long ago many people went to America from our district. There is good land in the townland
