    The writer of this form was a man who lived in Oughtmennis. His name was Daniel O'Leary. He emigrated to America in his youth. He wrote a four poems but most of them are lost. The only one remembered now is "The Bold Three Castle Heard."

    Come all you lads of pleasure
    Give eat to what I'll say
    I will sing a few verses to pass the time away
    concerning that historic spot you've seen or
    else have read
    The lofty peaks and craggy creeks of the
    Bod Three Castle Head
    II.
    To sing into praises I'm really at a loss.
    To paint its' beauteous picture my pen it
    will surpass.
    Where nature spreads it's beauty and charms they
    are all dead.
