- Flour was made locally at Reeves' mill in Ballynoe. Querns were big round stones about 30 cwt and rough, similar to a grater. They should be cleaned once a month. It is to be seen still at Enrights where the mill was. The different kinds of bread were, oatmeal, stampy and wheaten. Bread was made on a losad and baked on a griddle or bastable.
