Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)close the hole he had dug in the Abbey and say no more about the hidden gold. It was not a very pleasant occupation digging in a graveyard at the dead hour of night. He was not long at his work on the third night when his spade hit something like a pot. Carefully he dug around this little pot and removed it from the earth. He removed the lid and instead of a pot of golden sovereigns a pot of cockle-shells. Wearily he closed the hole he had dug and went home. He told all to his wife. They both looked at the pot to make sure there was no mistake. There in front of them were the cockle-shells. "I knew well"said the woman "that nothing good would come from digging in a graveyard. We are alright if some misfortune wont come upon us on account of it". However, nothing worse than finding cockle-shells instead of gold happened them.
