- Creagan na h-ola graveyard in the parish of Adare.The graveyard of Creagan na h-ola is situated about two miles from the village of Adare. The words Creagan na h-ola mean the hill of the oil. There are three small hills on the left bank of the maigue. The Creagan is situated on the right.It is situated about a quarter mile from Shountrade school on the eastern side. It is a very old graveyard. There is an iron gate leading into it. According to tradition it is said to be connected with the Franciscan Abbey of Adare, Which is situated(continues on next page)
