   "The Dherrigeen" = (An Doire Géadna) a portion of the farm of the same Bowes mentioned on opposite page This place rises clear from a surrounding bog. It is on the opposite side of the road toMoin na Faitche and is a mile from it. I regret I cannot quote the ordnance sheet no.

   "Derrykinnoo" This place is in the parish of Gortnahoo, Co. Tipp. It is one of a series of "Derries" along the outer edge of the great belt of bogland that extends from Moyne almost, in a wide curving belt under Glengoole to Ballytarsna near Cashel with but few breaks. On the inner edge of this wilderness Mochaomhóg built his cell at Beath-mór. Doire - cinn = uaighe

   "Cruicín Ruadh" = the name of a small eminence beside Tulloven Castle - parish of Banogue Co. of Limerick - and at the other side of the road past the castle. Name almost extinct.

   "Abha an Cláirín the name of the Carrow stream at "Carrow Bridge" 6" Sheet No 31 Limk.

   Mawnmore = the name of a field on the farm of Mr P.J. Cagney Dollas Groom. It is bounding the
