   Some horses are very strong and very quite more of them would kick and bite you. And are driven by saying "go on" and stick and they go very well. We call hens by saying chuck, chuck. And when they hear you they will come flying. We call ducks by saying feed feed. We call pigs by saying hurr r a. We call cats by saying siby shiby. We call dogs by saying Here here.

2. Care of Feet

   The boys and girls around here go barefoot in the months of May, June, July, August, and sometimes in September.
   The water that the people wash their feet with and when they are finished they throw it very far away. For the people say if you throw it near the door the fairies would come.

3. Boots

   Boots are made and repaired around here in four places. Shoe makers are 1 Paddy Shaughnessy, 2 Joe MacNamara 3 Mr Jim Mackey 4 Mr Maher.
   Some of them had their fathers shoemakers. There are more shoemakers now than before. Before in the old times they used wear no boots.
