    One night long long ago as John Bradshaw was coming home from Greenfields where he was working...

    Date of occurrence 1928.
    One night long long ago as John Bradshaw was coming home from Greenfields where he was working he had to come along a fairly dark avenue which was surrounded by a big wood. He saw in a field at his side some small little men dressed in green clothes and red caps on them and they were kicking football.
    He got a terrible fright although he was a brave man.
    He ran back into Greenfields and told them what happened
