- Roads of the ParishAnglesey Line
The best road in the parish is known as the 'anglesey line' . It stretches from Iron Mills to Nenagh. Once this gentleman was hunting in the townland of Kilkommon, and he was received kindly by the priest , and he promised to make a good road. The place was covered with trees , and they had to change the course of the river.I got this information from James Staplton Piperhill. aged about (78).
