    and they stood under a tree waiting it. When the daylight was breaking they saw in the distance a little woman crossing the field.
    One of them wanted to avoid her but the other was anxious to ask her if she knew where there was any hare. She said "Yes and pointed out a hollow of rushes and told them they would get a hare there.
    When they went to it the hare jumped out and coursed the two dogs until they lay down from fatigue. She then faced for the ruins of an old castle and the men gazed on her with surprise. The last view they got of her was the little woman walking into the castle. They then returned home and had to carry their two swift animals in their arms.
