- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)now in ruins. It was inhabited about three hundred years ago. There is no glass in the windows but the sashes of cut stone are there still. The castle was built at two different periods. The old castle at the South end has rounded corners and the walls are about ten feet thick. The portion at the North side is much larger and has square corners. The walls here are from three to four feet thick. The total length of the castle is a hundred feet. The castle is about six storey high. There is a beautiful spiral stair-case of cut stone in the old building. On the second storey is a large room locally known as the parlour It has a stone floor and roof. In this parlour there is a beautiful stone(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
