Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)A blacksmith living in the village of Two Mile Borris was called late in the night to put shoes on a horse. He got ready as quickly as he could and went down to the forge.
He prepared the shoes and put them on. When he came to put a shoe on the fourth foot the horse had only three legs. While he was putting on the shoes the man never spoke but used to run behind the bellows occasionally.
When he had finished shoeing the horse the man pulled a bottle from his pocket and asked him to take a sup. The blacksmith refused. Just as he was leaving he thanked him and said "Never get up for any man in the night again."- Faisnéiseoir
