The charm for Farsi was given to me (M. B Cleary N.T.) by Gerald Caren Knockgiffon about five years ago. (He has since died at the age of 88 years) The carm has been in the family for generations and was handed on from father to eldest son or to the eldest surviving member of the family. It never failed to cure, and horses suffering from the disease were taken to him by all people in the district.
He wrote it out phonetically for me + I have copied it exactly as I got it.
