    There is an old castle on Valentine Ryan's farm in th townland of Longford Gold was believed be buried there. Some people went to search for this gold but before reaching the castle a man on a white horse rode out of the castle and kept circling round it until the gold seekers departed.
    This castle is believed to have been built by the Danes.
