    Cuts :-(1) Apply a cobweb.
    2.Let a dog lick the cut.
    3.Chew slounress(a water
    plant)and apply.
    Corns:-1.Walk bare-foot through the dew.
    2.Apply a plaster of soda and soot.
    3.Steep ivy leaves in paraffin oil and apply.
    Toothache :(1)Tie a woollen sock or stocking around the head at night .Some suggest putting a fistful of bran into the stocking.
    2.Salt and pepper or pepper alone put into the tooth.Tobacco too eases the pain.
    3.Make a frog croak three times into your mouth.
    Boils:- 1.Apply a paste of white bread and cream.
    2.Apply fat meat -(bacon presumably)
    Ring-worm. 1. Apply rendered lard.
    2.Coat with paraffin oil.
    3. Apply the ashes from a pipe.
    4.A paste of garlic and soot.
