There is a grave yard in Lisroe near the big river in which children were buried This grave yard is never used now.The Master Connellan's brother died when he was a baby and was buried in this plot. This grave yard was on the farm of a man called Jack Crehan .Now it is regarded as an ordinary field with cattle grazing over .They have a special place for them in the townland of Drimanure also.Long ago the people had several burial grounds for those children.
People who marry into this parish and die childless are often taken back when they die to be buried in the grave yard belonging to the Church where they were baptised.A young married woman is often claimed by the parents and buried in the family burial ground.- Collector
