    Poul a Caran
    There is a district near Bally Vaughan called Poul a Caran. It got name because there is a big hollow in it and there are stones and they are heaped in piles.
    Rathnaigh
    Near Tubber there is a town - land called Rathnaigh. It is so called because all the fields about there are covered with ferns.
    Locht-na-Gamhna
    Outside Corofin there is a place called Locht-na-Gamhna. Long ago a big flock of calves used to be sold for two and six.
