- There is an old mound near Collon called Crock an Alluis. It is supposed to be the remains of a fort which the Tuaths De Danann inhabited long ago.
The mound is in a hollow in the corner of a field. It is in the shape of a triangle. It is lower at one of the corners than either of the others.
There is a ring of flat ground about six feet around it and then it slopes up to a point.
It is made of clay and stones and it is supposed to be hollow but this has never been proved.
There is a river flowing beside it and there are two gaps one each side of the mound(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
