(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)A good many years ago in this parish there was a very big house built in a graveyard.
There was a good deal of the house underground and every evening some little children used to come to play on a flat tomb-stone that was just along the wall of the house.
One evening in particular when they were playing one of the children remarked, "I wonder who is buried under this stone?, and great was their surprise when a voice from below answered in an angry tone "If I go up Ill let you know who is in it"
The children were greatly frightened, but it was only the voice of a maid in an underground room of the house.
