    "Suck, Suck, Suck." Then they all come running to the gate.
    When the cows are being milked they stand, each at their own little manger, in the cow-house. To tie them a chain is put round their necks. When the man is milking he sits on a little three-legged stool, which is kept in the cow-house.

  2. We have a churn at home which is kept in the dairy. It is round in shape and is about one year old. It is brown in colour and has a red top and bottom. Butter is made twice a week - every Tuesday and Friday. The churning takes about quarter of an hour and is done by twisting a handle. It is not a dash-churn and is worked by hand. On the lid of the churn is a small glass window. It
