It is also called the Dairy Park.On the premises of Mr Meegan there is a field known as the Gold Mine, because once a man made a lot of money by growing wheat there.
Tobar Bearnad is a holy well in Woodtown. A lame man one time lived in Heathtown and dreamt that St Bearnard cured him at that well. The following day he went down and prayed to the saint and put the water on his legs. He left his crutches and barrow behind behind him and returned home cured. The handle of the barrow still remains, and the well is visited each year on the first Sunday in August.
