- This is a common complaint among babies.
The old cure was to get a person that was born after his or her father's death to blow his or her breath on the patient for three successive days while fasting.
(This cure is still practised in this district) - (1). Get some "Butcher's Broom" (herb) which grows somewhat like "whins" or gorse but without thorns. Boil it with new milk and drink the syrup three times a day.
- (2). To swallow a live frog is said to be a cure for consumption.
