There is a bridge near Kilgar and there was stones taken out of the Chapel of Dramour and put on the bridge. There is also writing on them. There is a stone cross at Symorstown on the side of the road. It was said that this cross was erected in memory of 12 sons of an ancient King that lived on the hills of Balgrea. It was found among a heap of stones when a man was building a wall. It was said that these 12 young men had a dispute about their hound beside a river. The hound displeased one of them and he cut off his head. The next brother came up and cut off the head of his other brother and so on until one son remained.
