- The local fairs are held in the square. They are always held in the towns. Some buyers transact business at crossroads and at farmers houses this is still done. We do not know of any fairs held formely which have now been discontinued. We never heard of any local tradition of fairs held in hills in the neighbourhood of cemeteries or castles, forts, etc. The town fair is held in the street.
When an animal is sold luck money is given, it is called luck-penny. When a bargain has been made they mark the cattle and later on pay for them. They strike one anothers hands when the bargain is made.
