  2. In this locality the month of May is counted the most unlucky month to get married. When a match is made any of the other eleven months is suggested. Monday, Wednesday and Sunday are supposed to be the luckiest days. A bride may wear any colour but not brown or green, as green brings sorrow. In olden times if a man wanted a wife and did not know of one that would suit him, he would go to a man or woman called the match-maker. This person would bring him to the house where he thought he would get a suitable wife. There they
