- One time there were two men named Arthur Smith and his brother Edmund. They were living in a big building which is now gone to ruins in a place called Griffinstown. They were pretty old. Later, after Arthur dying there was a man named John Keegan who used to torment Edmund.Every night when he used to be coming from card-playing he used to go over and knock at the window to frighten Edmund. This night he was going away from the window and Arthur appeared to him. He kept before him and would not let him pass. Arthur would have killed him only he had his Rosary beads in his pocket.
