WARTS1) bathe in iron water got from forge
2) get a black anvil - rub to wart
3) put snail on a thorny bush - By time he has decayed warts will have disappeared!
4) get three gooseberry thorns. Point each three times to each wart - "In name of Father etc!"
5) dip warts nine times in water which collects in hollow of an old tree.
6) dip warts in froth of boiling potato water.
7) put a small stone for each wart in a paper-bag. Go to nearest bridge - throw bag over left shoulder. Whoever finds it will take the warts.
STYE ON EYE1) bathe eye in strong tea
2) pluck 10 gooseberry thorns. Throw one away. Point other nine to stye - In name of Father etc! Throw them away. By time they have decayed stye WILL BE GONE!- Bailitheoir
