POLL BUIDHEIn wet weather there is a small pond called Poll Buidhe at the north west corner of Miss Elizabeth Leonard's land in Russagh. The pond is on the lands of Joseph Weir Rathowen in the stream that divides Rathowen townsland from Russagh. Some say flax used to be netted there.
