The well is not is use now. In another place on the Island there is a large stone with the track of a monks knee on it, and beside it there is a small drop of water which is always there, and this is a cure for any sore or disease.
- In this district about ninty or one hundred years ago, there were several old schools. There was school held in my townland, in a cow-house owned by Patrick Shanley.
