- There is a small house situated about one mile and a half from where I live. It is made from mud and some stones.
This house was built about 90 years ago. After it was built a while there were ten women living in this house.
There was one pane of glass in it for a window, and a hole in the roof of it for to let out the smoke and a box on the top of the hole in the shape of a chimney. There is only one room in it and no kitchen.
It fell about twenty years ago and it was rebuilt and there is one man living in it now. There are very few of these old houses remaining now, as they have all fallen and were never rebuilt. The people of long ago though these houses were very nice and healty.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
