- Forts.There is and old Fort in James Mimnagh's field in Clontumpher. I heard a story about it from my grandmother (Mrs C. Prunty)
James Mollaghan of Clontumpher was going to a fair one morning years ago and he had to go down to the lower fields which are beside the fort to get the cow that he was bringing to the fair. When he got there he heard a child crying and a voice saying "Mother what will we do now he is going to sell the cow".
When James heard that he went back to the house and left the people of the fort the Cow. Some years ago Tom Lennon of Clontumpher was taking a short way through the fields and he had to go by the fort. He was going to a dance in Ennybegs School as he was going by the fort he saw a crowd of people laughing in front of(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
