It was then buried for years on the shores of Lough Gowna and was unearthed some years ago but the tongue was never found and a metal tongue was put in it but it had not the right sound and a new one was baught and both bells are in Columcille church yet. There are the ruins of an old church in Clonbroney which are called after an old woman whose son died.
St Patrick saw her crying and asked her what she was crying for and she told him that her son was dead. She buried him there below. St Patrick asked where the spot was and she showed him and he blessed it and it is called after it as Clonbroney means "clann brón. When the English came they destroyed it and they hanged the nuns and monks at Moat Farrell. The monastery grew up in a night. One time an English man took half of a quern stone for his hall-door when he braught it he left it outside the door to go in for some-thing but when he came out it had disappeared.
