- The following are the games we play at home and at school.
Pillar-the-Cap, Hunt-the-Fox, Hide-and-Seek, Tig, Rounders, French Tig, Cat, Taw-in-the-hole, Marbles, Four-corner-fool, Colours, Cricket, Blind-Boobey, All-the-Robbers.
Any number of people can play Pillar-the-Cap. A ball is needed and each member must have a cap. The caps are laid in a line by a wall with the peaks resting against the wall. A line is then drawn parallel with the row of caps, about three feet from them. The player who owns the first cap in the row takes the ball and throws it so as to roll into any of caps. He stands at the line when he is about to throw the ball. He gets three trys. If he rolls the ball into a player's cap, that player (picks) picks up the ball, and throws it at the runners.
