- There is an old school in Dunmain.
It is nearly forty years ago since there was school going on in it.
It was converted into a residence and the teacher lived there for a number of years. The teacher's name was Miss Mackessy and she was teaching in the new school in Gusseranne. She retired a few years ago and now lives in Horeswood. The school is still in Dunmain.- Collector
