    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There is an old Norman Castle in Killane which is said to have an underground passage from it to Hermitage and from that to Rosemount.
    In this passage a lot of noise is supposed to be heard on different nights every year.
    In the 98 period some of the Irish hid in the passage from the English, but one of their comrades betrayed them, and they were caught by the Yoemen, and hung in the Castle on the 29th June 1798.
    The Bar and rope from which they were hung is to be seen there still, also the hole through which they dropped.
    Ever since then Killane is said to be haunted.
    On the 29th of June a lot of men dressed in black is said to be seen guarding the Castle.
    On the same night the doors of the Castle are heard banging, and steps are
