iv
On marching through Ballycarney the Yeomen commenced burning the houses and slaughtering the people without mercy. A young girl named Mary Dwyer ran from her house and mounted a Yeomans horse. On each side of the horse was a pistol. She shot seven yeomen and was killed after by a Yeoman near a wind-mill.Written by : Felix Murphy
