    Morgan Somers
    Morgan Somers lived where Peter Doyle now lives in Money.
    He took part in the rebellion of 1798 and was taken prisoner and thrown into Wicklow Gaol.
    The infamous Bid Dolan swore his life away.
    During the trial Blaney of Umrigar House a captain of a Corps of Yeomenry who knew Somers was asked what did he think of him and he replied "A troublesome lad enough"
    This in addition to Bid Dolan's evidence caused Somers to be hanged in Wicklow Gaol.
    After the execution his mother was informed that she might come and claim the body.
