- When people are getting married, they hire two motor-cars. They tie an old boot or a kettle out of the cars for luck. The custom is that the man leaves the house before the wife. The wedding is held in the wife's house. When the wedding is leaving the church, the wife and husband get into the same car. The breakfast is held in the kitchen. Everyone gets a piece of wedding-cake. There is a dance in the evening. The wife and husband go away for a week's holidays. The wedding is ended next morning.
