    There were certain men in the district who used to make matches between boys and girls who had a lot of money. They used to go and talk to their parents and propose a certain sum of money for a fortune. Sometimes they used to give stock for a fortune.
    Long ago they used to go in coaches to get married and ride home on horse - back. The Bride and Bride - groom used to run a race to see which of them would be home first.
    If two old people or someone not liked by the people were getting married a crowd of boys used to gather around and blow horns at night. Long ago people used to wear something old, new, borrowed, blue.
