- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)this well, In the hollow of a tree which is growing beside it there is always water, even when all the spring wells dry up. It is still to be seen to this day. There is a druid's altar not far from St. Brigit's well also and an old church where Mass was said in olden times, and St. Brigit stopped there on her way to Clonmacnoise.
- Not far from where I live is a place called "The Wild Fields" a race of people lived in olden times. They lived like wild animals in the bushes, eating berries and nuts and that is why they are called "The Wild Fields". Not far from "The Wild Fields" is a meadow called the Poteen meadow because Poteen whiskey was made there in olden times.
