Farm Animals.
At home we have five cows, two horses, one pony, one calf, four pigs, two dogs and two cats.
Cows. 1 Each cow has a name such as the Big Cow, Black Cow, Red Cow, Kerry, and New Cow.
The cows usually get their names from their colour and size or from the place they came from and sometimes from the person from whom they were bought.
When we are driving them we say "How! How,"
This is also said to the calves.
The cowhouse is divided into five stalls, one for each cow.
Each cow is tied with a thing called a "Bow" which is made of iron.
