    called Saint Mulloes Rock and when this Saint saw what was happening in Ireland in the time of Cromwell he was tired Walking and he knelt down to pray at this rock and he crying while he was praying and the marks of his two knees and his elbows and a round hole where his tears fell are on the top of the Rock. There was a trough near the rock and a farmer that owned the field took home the trough because he wanted it and every thing he had began to die. Then he took the trough away to Ballaghmore Chapel yard the priest got it for holding holy water and it still has the name of St Mulloes Rock. This rock is near the road in Ballyduff facing the wall of Kyle Grave yard.

    Near the Holy Island there is a Lough called the Forked Lough. In olden times times there were many people drowned in it and at night time there is supposed music to be heard and is now called the Enchanted Lough. At the Holy Island there was a
